I'll start. Right now for my Jacobean Drama class I'm doing an annotated bibliography for a report on Thomas Middleton and The Revenger's Tragedy.

I am focusing on : The Revenge Tragedy form, stage violence, bastardy, and double identity because those are the topice about
which I've found articles. My partner in the report is doing something on gender and women in The Revenger's Tragedy and also
the authorial debate. (some people attributed this play to Torneur, not Middleton.)

The thing is due on Monday night and I am about 1/3 of the way through, so I am not worried, just a little concerned. I should work for about 4 hours today, 4 tomorrow, 4 monday.

don't let me forget I'm supposed to watch Daughters of the Dust and Monster's Ball at another professor's house on Sunday night
for our Contemporary Southern Literature Class.

What are you all doing for school lately?

I love when a topic is so interesting that the research doesn't even seem like work. I'm taking a class called 'Cultural Text' (English 7474) at the University of Memphis. My project I came up with for the semester is exploring the topic of women who voluntarily shave their heads. Luckily for Britney, and especially myself, we can only cover happenings up to a decade ago.

I am particularly interested in the topic because as a younger gal I used to mess around with mohawks and head-shaving myself. Over the years I've collected articles and pictures regarding women with shaved heads. I was so anxious for my professor to approve my project because now I FINALLY get to work on it.

I began the intro today going back to the early womens' movement. I'm up to the British Invasion which will lead into punk jumping into America from 'across the pond'. I was so disappointed today when I had to stop writing and DO REAL LIFE. Boo!
